Building on the foundation laid last year, renowned Bukharian Jewish charity «All About Kindness» joined forces with Judge «Ruchie» Freier, founder of Ezras Nashim, for an inspiring evening on April 7th, 2024. Ezras Nashim is the pioneering all-female Hatzalah (EMT corps) in the US, and Freier is also the first Hasidic New York Supreme Court Judge.
Lyudmila Mierova, founder of All About Kindness (@allaboutkindness613 on Instagram), expressed her deep appreciation for those who attended the event. «What an extraordinary evening we experienced!» said Mierova, a licensed speech and language pathologist, who gives back to the community all year round. «The room was ablaze with the energy of powerful women,» she continued, highlighting the importance of women supporting women.
Judge Freier, the guest of honor, captivated the audience with her remarkable journey. A mother of six, an Orthodox wife, and a trailblazing lawyer, Freier shattered barriers to become a judge while remaining true to her religious beliefs. Her story resonated with the attendees, reminding them of the strength within each of them.
The evening wasn’t just about empowerment, but about the power of community and giving back. Proceeds from the event supported families in the community during Passover and will contribute to the lifesaving work of Ezras Nashim. In a heartwarming display of solidarity, All About Kindness specifically raised funds to support a new Ezras Nashim division in Queens, expanding their reach to provide essential care to even more people in need.

«As we indulged in a delectable hot buffet, our hearts swelled with pride knowing that the proceeds raised would support families in our community, ensuring they have food on the table during Passover, and contribute to the noble cause of Ezras Nashim,» said Mierova.
Advisory Board Member Chagit Leviev also spoke, sharing why she chose to be involved, adding another layer of depth to the event.
«From inspiring speeches to moving patient testimonies, the evening celebrated the power of giving and the impact it creates,» wrote Ezras Nashim on Instagram.
Mierova extended her deepest gratitude to the event’s sponsors, including Irene and Larisa Davidoff of Invictus Pharmacy Family, Elder & Estate Law Offices of Irina Yadgarov, Diana Rachnaev of Yesodot, Enessa Mullokandow of Mullok Law Office and Shaare Shlomo, Tamara Iskahov of Esthetics by Tamar, Violeta Gavrielov of Gym Tots, Rachel Michaelov of Empire Tax Advisors, Nina Khaimov of Law Offices of Nina Khaimov, Milana Aranbayeva of Beauty MD, Tamara Gavrielov of Dime, and Chabad of Eastern Queens.
«[Their] presence and support have truly made a difference in the lives of many,» Mierova concluded.
This year’s event continued the connection that began in 2023, when Mierova, then named Bukharian Person of the Year, attended the Ezras Nashim dinner. Freier, impressed by All About Kindness’s mission, was subsequently invited to a Queens event. The April 2024 dinner solidified the partnership between the two organizations, both dedicated to uplifting their communities.
«Let us carry the spirit of kindness forward, inspired by Judge Freier’s remarkable journey, and continue to be beacons of light in our communities,» said Mierova.
